Nate and Abbey’s Hideaway Attic

Abbey & I are adjusting quite nicely to life in the attic above the B&B downstairs. It’s such a cool little getaway, with views that thousands of people pay great money to see every year. From the little window inside our room we can see a panorama of mountains, with the tallest and most picturesque being Ben Nevis. We have applied for a bunch of jobs and both expect to be employed within a week or so. It’s taking a bit of time getting use to being stationery again, for the first time in around 5 months my noble backpack is empty. There isn’t a day that goes by that it doesn’t call for me, like a dog begging for a walk.

We’ve been exploring the Highlands even more, on foot and bike. I can’t wait for a good 3 day patch of good weather so we can go on another 2 day hike through the mountains and lay under the northern stars.
